Hello and welcome to my home site! My name is Shane Stainton, i'm a multi-media crafter living and working in a small studio in upstate New York, just inside the Adirondack State park.
Most of my work is inspired by my involvement in various medieval groups such as the Society for Creative Anachronisms and the early Icelandic Norse cultures. I've been working in media as diverse as stone, metal, wood, and leather for about the last 15 years, making everything from armor to vine baskets.
